Your intuition that cheating activities are going on is usually correct. Once you have carefully screened and selected an experienced private investigative agency, in order for the surveillance to be more efficient, you need to prepare in advance for your first appointment with the following on your mate:
- Determine the extent of surveillance you want. Will the results need to be used in a divorce proceeding? In Louisiana, two investigators are required for testimony, preferably with proof of adultery on at least two separate occasions.
- Provide a photograph of the spouse. Provide home and work addresses, in addition to the addresses of locations they may frequent. Also provide information on vehicle descriptions, license plate numbers, etc.
- Provide daily work and extra-curricular schedules, in addition to a pattern of suspect activities you may have determined from your observations.
- Provide as much information as possible on the person they may potentially be involved with, in addition to photographs, if available.
- Provide any other helpful information you may have obtained from a thorough review of cell phone bills, credit card receipts, and such.
